Born in Ibiza in 20 June 1980 on the island of Sant Antoni de Portmany, located on the island of Ibiza (in the Balearic Islands, Spain), Café del Mar began as a seaside bar overlooking the Mediterranean, created by architect Lluís Güell. What started as a relaxed sunset spot has since evolved into a world-renowned lifestyle and music brand, celebrated for its signature Balearic chill-out soundtracks, soulful ambience and coastal luxury.
Today, Café del Mar – Sydney carries this legacy forward as a premier restaurant in Darling Harbour, blending Mediterranean flavours, vibrant music, and warm hospitality to create an unforgettable experience inspired by the iconic Ibiza sunsets.
